We have a lot of trees in our area, meaning a lot of beautiful colors in the fall.

Here are some pictures of the trees on our property and the surrounding areas from a few weeks ago – close to the peak season for fall foliage in our area.

Of course, in addition to the beauty, the changing colors are also a reminder that winter is coming once again. The water hoses need to be brought in, the heated buckets need to be brought out of storage, and other preparations for winter need to be completed before it gets too cold and before the snow arrives.

But on those crisp, clear fall days when the temperature is just right, those winter preparations can always wait for just a little longer.
