Earlier this month, we received what some astrologists may view as a good sign.

According to Wikipedia, a sign is an object, quality, event, or entity whose presence or occurrence indicates the probable presence or occurrence of something else. I believe the sign we received meets that criteria.

My wife had a custom address sign made as a holiday gift!

The sign is about 2′ high by 3′ wide and features a raised leaf design with our house address and the Lucky Penny Acres name in green and cream to match both our house and barn exterior colors.

We plan to mount it outside along the road in the spring. We will need to design and build something for the sign to attach to, which, at least for purposes of final installation, will need to wait until the snow melts in spring.

Until then, we are keeping it wrapped in its original plastic for safekeeping.
